ENSALADA RUSA A LA MEXICANA

Ingredientes:

  • 2 papas
  • 2 zanahorias
  • 2 tallos de cebolla verde
  • 2 huevos
  • 1/2 taza de mayonesa piaf
  • 1/2 taza de media crema
  • 1/4 taza carne ahumada
  • 1/8 taza jalapeño en escabeche
  • Sal al gusto
  • Pimienta al gusto

Instrucciones

MEXICAN STYLE RUSSIAN SALAD

Ingredients:

  • 3 potatoes
  • 3 carrots
  • 2 green onion stalks
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 1/2 cup PIAF oregano mayonnaise
  • 3/4 cup smoked meat
  • 1/4 cup pickled jalapeño pepper
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Preparation:

  1. Peel the carrots but not the potatoes. Boil the potatoes and carrots. Until they are cooked. Continue cooking for 10 to 15 minutes, or until potatoes and carrots are firm but tender when pierced.
  2. Boil the egg for about 10 minutes. It should be hard inside. Let cool.
  3. When the potatoes and carrots are done, let them cool to the point where you can easily handle them.
  4. Peel the potatoes. With your fingers or the back of a knife, gently scrape the thin layer of skin off the potatoes. Cut them into ½-inch cubes and place them in a medium serving bowl.
  5. Next, dice the carrots.
  6. Peel and dice the hard-boiled eggs.
  7. Add the smoked meat and jalapeño, mix everything gently before adding the mayonnaise.
  8. To start, add a cup of mayonnaise and add more if you think the salad needs more (it all depends on your taste). Add salt and pepper to taste.
  9. Cover the salad and chill for at least an hour or overnight to allow the flavors to meld. And of course, garnish with dill. This is a Russian salad, after all.

You can accompany your salad with some sanissimas
