Buffalo boneless de coliflor

     A veces, y con “a veces” me refiero a todo el tiempo, se me antojan unas boneless. Pero, noticia de última hora, no son buenas para mí. Así que probé esta receta que cambió mi vida y mi visión de las cosas. Bocados de coliflor de búfalo. Nunca imaginé que algo tan sano pudiera tener un sabor tan prohibido. Son picantes, crujientes y deliciosos. Perfectos para personas que comen o no carne. 

Ingredientes 

  • 1 cabeza de coliflor
  • 70 g de harina de garbanzos 
  • 1 cucharadita de ajo en polvo
  • 2 cucharaditas de pimentón 
  • Sal y pimienta al gusto 
  • 180 ml de leche de almendras 
  • 60 ml de salsa picante de su elección
  • 1 cucharada de aceite de oliva 

Procedimiento 

     Precalienta el horno a 230C, y engrasa una fuente de horno. Lavar la coliflor y cortarla en ramilletes. En un bol, añade la harina de garbanzos, el ajo en polvo, el pimentón, la sal y la pimienta, y la leche de almendras. Mezcla hasta que se combinen. Añadir los ramilletes a la masa y cubrirlos uniformemente. Pasar a la fuente de horno engrasada. Rocíe con un poco más de aceite de oliva por encima. Hornea durante 10 minutos, dale la vuelta y hornea otros 10 minutos. Mientras tanto, combina la salsa picante y el aceite de oliva en un bol y, una vez que estén listos, úntalos con esta mezcla y hornéalos durante 20 minutos más. Buffalo cauliflower bites 

     Sometimes and by sometimes I mean all the time, I’m in the mood for boneless wings. But, news flash, they’re not good for me. So I tried this recipe that changed my life and my outlook on things. Buffalo cauliflower bites. I never knew something so healthy could taste so forbidden. They are spicy, crispy and delicious. Perfect for people who do or don’t eat meat. 

Ingredients 

  • 1 head cauliflower
  • 70g chickpea flour 
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tsp paprika 
  • Salt and pepper to taste 
  • 180ml almond milk 
  • 60ml your choice of hot sauce
  • 1 tbsp olive oil 

Procedure 

     Preheat oven to 230C, and grease a baking dish. Wash your cauliflower and cut it into florets. In a bowl add chickpea flour, garlic powder, paprika, salt and pepper, and almond milk. Mix until combined. Add the florets to the batter and coat evenly. Transfer to the greased baking dish. Spray with some more olive oil on top. Bake for 10 minutes, flip then bake for another 10 minutes. In the meantime, combine hot sauce and olive oil in a bowl and once they’re ready brush them with this mixture and bake for 20 more minutes. Don’t leave them unattended so they don’t burn.
